As Sales Executive, I am part of the sales team. Within this team I fulfill the role of Scrum Master and I support the team in achieving the backlog targets. During tender processes I am also involved as bid manager in the timely submission of a good quality bid. I wanted a commercial role with a software company in which I could contribute both to customers and to the internal organization. I found that at Optimum Assessment. The versatility of my role allows me to develop broadly. We also work in self-managing teams and you get a lot of responsibility. That works enormously motivating for me! Besides the opportunities my job offers me, the informal atmosphere at Optimum Assessment appeals to me enormously. I experience Optimum Assessment as an enterprising club that encourages personal initiative. As an employee you are stimulated to get the best out of yourself. For me, the core values ‘transparency’ and ‘attention’ are the most important to convey to my clients and internally. The atmosphere within the organization and the cooperation between the various departments is also a spearhead within Optimum Assessment. Something fun is regularly organized for employees. In addition, investments are made in courses to improve mutual communication as well. This indicates to me that the culture within the organization is also considered very important by management.

In my role as Software Architect, I consult daily with colleagues about the status of our projects, we discuss technical projects and the changes we are going to make to the architecture of our software solutions. I also investigate new techniques that can be incorporated into our architecture.
